On Monday, January 7th the Hollywood Theatre will host the third iteration of Getting To Know You(Tube), a project by local artists Crystal Baxley and Stefan Ransom that invites selected members of the Portland community to share their internet video interests with a larger audience.

The format of Getting to Know You(Tube) is simple. Presenters give 10-15 minute presentations using YouTube videos — these presentations can have a theme, a narrative thread, teach us how to do something or be completely nonsensical — as long as it utilizes YouTube. A brief Q&A session follows each presentation, and after all of the presentations are complete, there is an open session where anyone is the audience is free to share their own YouTube picks.
